The portable and lightweight Toshiba 64GB Excite 10 Tablet can be your personal assistant, confidant, photographer and friend. It provides organization, entertainment and communication. It already supports the innovative and mobile-specific Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system; let it support you too. The Excite features a 10.1" capacitive multi-touch LCD screen with 1280 x 800 resolution, LED backlight, AutoBrite technology, 170° horizontal/vertical viewing angles, 10-finger touch control and a Corning Gorilla Glass enclosure. The 16:10 widescreen aspect ratio ensures your movies and video will be viewed as the director intended with no altering or cropping to fit the screen. Plus, the internal 1GB DDR3L 1333 MHz RAM memory and 1.4GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 Super 4-PLUS-1 quad-core processor with 5th battery-saver core keep your work flowing. The Excite even boasts NVIDIA 12-core high-performance graphics as well. The 64GB storage capacity is ideal for storing all your audio and video content, but if you need more room, the full-sized SD card slot affords storage expansion up to 32GB.
The Excite features a plethora of connection options as well. For wireless connectivity, it's equipped with WiFi (802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth 3.0 + HS. You can access the Internet from your home wireless network or from any WiFi hot-spot. Plus, Bluetooth connectivity affords wireless device connection for easy and convenient keyboard or mouse hook-up. Other connection options include a micro USB 2.0 port, 3.5mm stereo headphone jack, and a micro HDMI port for viewing video content on an HDTV in uncompressed, Full HD 1080p resolution. There are also front and rear cameras, as well as a docking connector port. The front 2-megapixel webcam and integrated microphone facilitate video-chatting, while the rear 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus, digital zoom and LED flash shoots photos and video in stunning clarity with 1080p Full HD video.
The Excite is also outfitted with stereo speakers and several sensors. Besides integrated GPS, the Excite features a gyroscope, 3-axis accelerometer, digital compass and ambient light sensor. With so many connection possibilities, a variety of multimedia support and accessory features, you can easily employ the Excite tablet as a tool in your mobile office or as a source of entertainment to share with friends and family.
