Comments about Gitzo G11510N Microphone Shock Mount:
I use this primarily on my DSLR shoulder rig in conjuction with a Sound Devices Mixpre-D and Canon 60D.
I had two Rode shockmounts before this one and they both broke in transit before they even got to me. So I decided I wanted an inexpensive shockmount made of metal. This Gitzo fits the bill. It's basic and straight forward and I'm not afraid I'll damage it when I travel with it in my equipment case.
Highly recommended for an inexpensive shockmount.

Comments about Gitzo G11510N Microphone Shock Mount:
Solid shock mount - Typically gitzo, very high quality and built to last.
I would have given 5 stars but it doesn't come with spare elastic bands.

Comments about Gitzo G11510N Microphone Shock Mount:
I needed a good shock mount for my boom pole that wasn't going to break the first time something bumped into it. This mount was nice because it was made of metal, not plastic. I don't have to be afraid to tighten or loosen it. No worries about cracking in temperature changes either.

Simple useable design, also just as at home for mics in a sound studio, and better quality!

Comments about Gitzo G11510N Microphone Shock Mount:
Use it for interdependent film making. As good as certain more expensive models for a fraction of the price. Has limited adjusting abilities and doesn't come with extra shock mount rubber bands
