The 16x9 Inc. 169-CBM15-01-115 Compact Dovetail is designed for use with the 16x9 Inc. Cine Base or Camera Spacer. Machined out of solid aluminum, it offers 9” (228.6mm) of smooth travel space for proper camera balancing. Designed for quick and easy mounting, this dovetail offers rigid support and a wide range of balance adjustment capabilities.
- Safety Mechanism
- The dovetail offers a quick-release mechanism that allows a faster and easier method for removing the 15mm Support Base (sold separately). By simply pressing the spring-loaded locking mechanism located at either end in the direction shown on the Compact Dovetail, the support base can be released.
- Thread Mounting for Most Tripods
- Designed to accommodate a multitude of tripods, from entry-level to professional, the dovetail comes standard with 2 thread hole patterns. The first row features alternative 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 female threads for use with small to mid-sized tripods. The second row features 3/8"-16 female threads for use with larger cine-style tripods and gear heads.
