- Select from the custom picture mode settings (Standard, dynamic 1, dynamic 2, cinema 1, cinema 2) to adjust picture sharpness and control in Sony DVD players
- Dolby Digital
- An audio compression technology used for most DVD movies, it is the U.S. standard for sending audio as part of digital TV signals.
