This unit is compatible with DVD Video, DVD-R/W, DVD-R DL, DVD+R/W, SVCD, VCD, DVD-Audio, and WMV formats. With its USB input, enjoy the convenience of playing back DivX movies, iTunes music and videos (MPEG-4 AAC) stored on a USB flash drive or portable device.

To help re-create the thrill and realism of today's movie soundtracks at home, it offers 24-bit/96kHz processing, and a coaxial digital audio output for Dolby Digital/DTS 5.1 surround sound processing. Though it's an excellent DVD player, it can also be used as a CD, WMA, MP3 player and JPEG photo viewer. You could actually use this player to share your favorite songs and photos with friends and family at your next gathering. Simply put, if you're a music lover or home video enthusiast on a budget, the Sony DVP-SR320 Multisystem Compact DVD Player answers the call with reliability.

Multi Disc Resume
Memorizes the stop positions for several different DVDs so that the DVD player will resume playback from where you last stopped. The DVD player can resume playback even when the disc has been removed from the DVD player
Custom Picture Mode
Select from the custom picture mode settings (Standard, dynamic 1, dynamic 2, cinema 1, cinema 2) to adjust picture sharpness and control in Sony DVD players
Dolby Digital
An audio compression technology used for most DVD movies, it is the U.S. standard for sending audio as part of digital TV signals. Dolby Digital stuffs audio information into a package much smaller than the original, so that it can fit on a DVD or travel as part of a narrow-bandwidth digital TV signal. More excitingly, it is built to hold 5.1 channels of surround sound
Digital Theater System (DTS) is a multichannel audio compression format similar to Dolby Digital, but differing in that it generally uses higher data rates offering better quality. DTS: Digital Discrete 5.1 sound (left, center, right, rear left, rear right, low frequency emitter)
DTS Discrete 6.1: Digital Discrete 6.1 sound (left, center, right, rear left, rear center, rear right, low frequency emitter)
DTS ES 96/24: Digital Discrete 5.1 sound (left, center, right, rear left, rear right, low frequency emitter) using extended bandwidth (up to 96kHz) designed for music
DTS ES Matrix 6.1: Digital Discrete 5.1 sound (left, center, right, rear left, rear center, rear right, low frequency emitter) with matrix rear center
DTS Neo 6: Digital Matrix 6.1 sound (left, center, right, rear left, rear center, rear right, low frequency emitter)
