The camera uses a 1/3" Super HAD CCD image sensor to capture high-quality images at a resolution of up to 600 TVL. Designed for day/night surveillance, the camera operates well even in locations with a minimum illumination of 0.05 lux, making it suitable for low-light surveillance. In addition, a host of imaging features such as White Balance and Backlight Compensation ensure that the box camera consistently delivers bright and sharp images in varied lighting situations.
Featuring SSDR (Samsung Super Dynamic Range), the camera balances the overall brightness by illuminating the darker areas to the same ratio as the bright areas, and produces clear images under high-contrast lighting conditions. In addition, the Noise Reduction function (SSNRIII) digitally corrects video noise to improve picture clarity and helps DVRs improve disk storage utilization. Using Digital Image Stabilization, the camera offers steady pictures by compensating for any camera movement caused by external stimuli.
Motion Detection enables video recording to begin once any movement is detected in up to 8 selectable zones. You can also protect the privacy of people in the surveillance area by masking up to 12 configurable regions.
Featuring a focal length range of 5.0 to 60mm, the varifocal lens supports 54.2 to 4.6° wide angle of view to cover a wider surveillance area. The iris range of f/1.3-360 offers detailed imagery at low-light intensity as well as under extreme bright light.
The CAMH-400K Enclosure can be used to house a CCTV box camera in an outdoor location. With its 12" exterior length, the inside of the housing is roomy enough to accommodate most camera and lens combinations. Included with the housing is an 8" wall mount bracket, also made of aluminum. This bracket features 360° rotation, so you can easily point the camera in the direction you need it to see.
