The Teradek CASE with Cube-155 HD-SDI Video Encoder is a versatile system that makes for a powerful and elegant wireless VTR unit. The CASE includes a Cube Video Encoder with the required proxy recording and streaming licenses. It has a wireless access point that is preconfigured for optimal wireless video streaming performance. 

This hardened travel case comes with a convenient external mounting point and a C-stand for easy mounting up to 9' (2.74m) high, ensuring line of sight between your transmitter and receiver. A proxy recording file server pre-configured allows users to automatically and wirelessly record instant dailies on Mac Mini, used for instant playback or post production within seconds of calling "Cut!." The video streaming server optimally reflects the stream from a single Cube to dozens of decoder clients (e.g., iPads) without overloading Cube's resources. 

The Cube is pre-configured to automatically begin recording a proxy file the moment Record is pressed on the camera. An Instant Daily is created when recording is started in real time on the Mac Mini server in the ubiquitous .mov or .mp4 formats. The recorded file will be identical in name, start and stop times, and timecode as the original file still on the camera's storage. It will also be available for immediate review on any LivePlay-equipped iPad on the set. LivePlay users can add comments with a simple touch of a button in completely customizable data fields with managed user privileges and reporting. 

This turnkey video-assist system provides everything needed for wireless proxy recording, remote analysis over the Internet, and video monitoring on iPads and field monitors. Cube alone can transmit 1080p HD videos up to 300' (91.4m), but with CASE the range is increased to 1,000' (304.8m). 

By integrating the Cube and LivePlay combination into CASE, the complexity of selecting and configuring all the components required to make a complete on-set monitoring and VTR system is eliminated.
