Well designed & manufactured, fits securely while supporting filter holder close to lens. Only complaint was that nowhere did I see it defined that you need the "wide angle" adapter ring when shooting wider than 28mm, which was a bit of a surprise when I used it on my 24-70mm lens. Heavy vignetting at 28mm and wider.

I was surprised that the ring is made of metal instead of the usual plastic. Fits comfortably on my Canon 17-40mm f4.

However, it's a tight fit into the Lee foundation kit. I always have trouble putting the kit on but no problem removing, or turning it when in use.

An important part of the Lee holders.

It works well, its nicely build and solid, not too heavy but not lightweight either.

I do have a hard time getting it to lock in sometimes.

This works fine, however the Lee hood starts to vignette at about 28mm on a full frame sensor with a 24-70 lens. Works great on longer focal lengths. I use it with the Lee Standard Lens Hood.

The ring is well machined and does what it is supposed to do flawlessly. I'm a bit surprised that Lee doesn't manufacture all their adapter rings be with the threads inset to work better with wide angle lenses (yes, I know they have those available, but charging a price 10-20x what it takes to manufacture a part is downright annoying). One would think that a third party manufacturer would produce an alternate version, motivating Lee to adopt a more sensible pricing strategy.

I dropped the rating to a 4 because of the price. For a simple, machined ring the price ought to be much lower...

Solid construction. Basically this is required for the lee foundation kit for a 77mm thread.

Still have a small amount of vignetting at 24mm with Lee foundation kit filter holder and two stacks. Haven't tried only one stack to see if vignetting is still there. Good quality but overly expensive. I use it on a 24-105L, Canon 5D MkII

I purchased this and a 82mm wide angle adapter ring to use with the lee foundation filter kit. A must have accessory to use the filter holder with your lenses.

Very solid built.Since I am so used to Cokin filters and adapters it took me 20s to figure out how to put it on the lens.It attaches great if you hold the lens perfectly straight onto the adapter.I fumbled at bit to remove it but I am not used to the product yet. I have to try it out to see if it causes vignetting with my UWA lens. But the design is different than Cokin so it should be minimal. But there is also another adapter ring for UWA [...]So I might order it later.

There isn't really much to this product. If you are using the Lee Filter system and need an adapter ring - this works great.
