This adapter ring fits the Lee 4" (100mm) filter holders. This adapter ring places the filter holder somewhat closer to the lens than the standard adapter ring. This is necessary for certain wide angle lenses to avoid vignetting.

This is a heavy-duty ring, not flimsy at all, and easy to screw on and off. Spend the money and get this instead of the less-expensive aluminum step-up rings.

Took me more than 2 months to get this from LEE - every LEE's product is backordered all the time. When you see what you get and how much you paid for it - this one is at the worst level among all my photographic gear. A similar product with Cokin is less than half the price. So far I have not found anything in LEE's that is twice as good as Cokin's in this line of product.

Comments about LEE Filters Adapter Ring - 82mm - for Wide Angle Lenses:
So many $$$ for a ring? Seriously? That's my one star off. But who else makes these? That's why they cost what they do.If you are using a Canon 16-35 L or 24 TS-E like me, there is no vignetting. Works as advertised. Just order it already; It's what you are looking for.

Got this for my Zeiss 21mm. Does what it says, but not particularly good value. But if you need to attach filters to such a lens with the Lee system then you have little choice.

Works great with the Lee Filters System. I keep these filter rings attached to my lenses at all times and use the Lee Filters lens covers instead of the lens caps.

It is a tight fit but it does work on a Zeiss Distagon T* 3,5/18 ZF.2 lens. Works great with the wide angle lens hood.

Comments about LEE Filters Adapter Ring - 82mm - for Wide Angle Lenses:
I have migrated all of my filters to the Lee Filter system. As a result, I needed to acquire the adapter ring(s) for the lenses that I have or will be purchasing in the future. The 82mm wide angle adapter ring works great for connecting the filter holder to my Canon 16-35/2.8L II USM.
Quality product that will allow me to expand my filter capabilities and create magical images.
