The PAL configuration of TS24 Pro Scout Thermal Monocular from FLIR is a handheld thermal monocular capable of capturing photo and recording video of the transmitted image. The 240x180 VOx thermal sensor measures the heat signature within the field of view and enables the operator to see beyond smoke, dust, and fog obscuring the visual scene. Thermal imaging creates an image by discriminating between differences in temperature, allowing the TS24 Pro to consistently operate in daylight, pitch dark, and dynamic lighting conditions. To optimize the transmitted image for specific applications, this monocular features two selectable polarity modes and InstAlert mode optimized for quicker identification of people and wildlife by highlighting body heat in red. The dedicated polarity, brightness, zoom, and capture buttons located on the top of the housing enable intuitive control of the monocular functions without taking your eye off the display.
The TS24 Pro monocular enables operators to record, store, and transfer images of the thermal scene. Native resolution photos and videos can be recorded to an SD card and transferred to a computer using the USB 2.0 port. A shuttered eyepiece prevents light from the viewfinder display from illuminating the operator's face and helps maintain covert posture. This monocular includes an interchangeable 19mm lens that provides a 24-degree horizontal viewing angle that is well-suited for mid-range observations. The weather sealed housing, bayonet lens mounting system, and integrated SD card slot make the TS24 Pro a full-featured thermal monocular for first responders and tactical professionals.
