The 81 Series of filters control the bluish coloration that affects daylight film. They can also remove excessive blue from the effects of electronic flash. Good for general scenics when the photographer wishes to remove the bluish cast from open shade or just add warmth to the photograph, with an 81EF having the greatest effect.
Whereas the 81 Series of filters creates a feeling of warmth, the 82 Series creates a feeling of coolness.
Lee resin filters are available in 4 x 4" (100 x 100mm) x 2mm thick.

Comments about LEE Filters 4x4" 81C Pale Amber Resin Filter:
Use this filter to warm a scene. It easily fits into a Lee filter holder. It is a good solution if you are using Lee filters (maybe a grad ND) and need to warm the scene. Instead of having to un screw the Lee system to put an 81c onto the lens then re screw the Lee system onto that filter you simply slide the 81 c into one of the provided slots. This can save you time and effort. Optical quality good, not the best possible... Probably won't detract from most 35mm glass.
