The portable and application-packed Lenovo 16GB IdeaTab 9.7" S2109 Tablet is a powerful multitasking tool that can play the roles of personal assistant, friend, phone, researcher, photographer and employee - simultaneously. The IdeaTab can organize even the most hectic of lives, while also keeping you thoroughly entertained and connected with friends. The user-friendly Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and TI OMAP 4430 Cortex-A9 1 GHz MPCore dual-core processor with SMP combines speed, ease-of-use, flexibility and power, to make this a great tablet for both work and play. Plus, the 3-cell li-ion battery can provide up to ten hours of Web surfing between charges and the PowerVR SGX540 integrated graphics support high-definition video playback. Mix in a virtually endless list of available apps from Google Play and you've got a recipe for hours of uninterrupted entertainment, work solutions, games, social networking, Web browsing and so much more.
The high-definition 9.7" LCD display features 1024 x 768 resolution, a 4:3 aspect ratio, wide-viewing angles and five-point multi-touch technology for easily scrolling through programs. Plus, the tablet boasts four 0.7W speakers, an integrated digital microphone and a 1.3-megapixel front camera with 720p HD video capture. For storage and fast computing, the IdeaTab is equipped with 1GB of 400MHz LPDDR2 onboard memory and 16GB of eMMC storage capacity, which can be expanded by taking advantage of the microSD card reader. For wireless communication, the IdeaTab is equipped with 802.11 b/g/n WiFi connectivity, as well as support for Bluetooth 3.0 + HS. The tablet also features a headphone jack, micro USB port and micro HDMI output with HDCP support.
Another highlight of the IdeaTab is its long list of preloaded apps. Plus, you'll have access to both Google Play Store and the Lenovo App Shop for free and pay application specifically tested for Lenovo tablets. For added convenience, the tablet supports several audio and video formats. There's even built-in GPS, as well as an ambient light sensor, 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope and digital compass.
