With 4500 ISO lumens and a contrast ratio of 3000:1, the XGA-resolution Epson PowerLite 1950 XGA 3LCD Projector has the projection power to present large images in venues where ambient light would be a problem for lesser projectors.

However, it's a gentle giant that works and plays well with others. It's got an international 100 to 240 VAC 50/60Hz power supply and it can handle NTSC, PAL and SECAM TV signals. It can also project 720p, 1080i and 1080p high definition signals.

The 1950 is also PC friendly. You can plug your PC into the 1950's USB Type B port and play both video and audio through the projector. All of those signals benefit from the bright and high contrast Epson 3LCD projector panel. 3LCD delivers clear and vibrant images so true to life you may not believe your eyes.

With direct power on, you can set the 1950 to turn it on as soon as it's plugged into the wall socket. And with Epson's instant off technology there is no cool down period. As soon as you turn the projector off you can pack it up and move on.

DICOM Simulation Mode
DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine) is a standard for handling, storing, printing and transmitting medical imaging information. The projector's DICOM Simulation Mode enables users to reproduce images with an advanced grayscale level that simulates DICOM Part 14. This mode is ideal for viewing grayscale medical images, such as X-rays, for training and educational purposes

Always Look for Color Light Output When Choosing a Projector
For optimum image quality and performance, the projector you choose should offer equal levels of color and white light output
When the two measurements are not identical, images do not look balanced
Whites may be brighter, making the colored areas look dull and flat
The combination of color richness (color light output) and brightness (white light output) is as critical as the combination of bass and treble would be when purchasing audio equipment
3LCD Technology
Innovative technology with proven reliability
3 chips for full-time, vibrant color
25% less electricity required per lumen of brightness when compared to 1-chip DLP projectors
Over 20 years of road-tested reliability built into every projector
Horizontal Keystone Slider
Epson's horizontal image correction means you can project a rectangular image from almost any angle. Just move the easy-slide control bar to make the necessary adjustments. Your projector can be off to the side and above or below the screen, while your presentation is front and center
Advanced Color Adjustments
For special projection material such as high-quality photographs or artwork, users can adjust the hue, saturation and brightness for six colors, RGBCMY (Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow)
Amazing Color and White Light Output
The PowerLite 1950 delivers true-to-life, vibrant, colorful images, even in ambient light. For today's color-rich, multimedia content, users want a projector that delivers both optimum white and color imagery
Digital DisplayPort and HDMI Connectivity
DisplayPort and an HDMI digital display interface enable the projector to easily project digital content including video and audio. Both are compatible with the latest laptops, Blu-ray, DVD and other media players. Future proof your digital content
