The Kanex USB 1.1 Single Extender Over Twisted Pair 150 ft is a transmitter and receiver set that lets you use a USB device, like a keyboard, from up to 150 ft away from a computer. With a keyboard, for example, you'd plug the transmitter into a computer, connect the transmitter and receiver by a CAT5e/6 twisted pair cable as long as 150 ft, and connect the keyboard into the receiver and use it in a different room. The computer will power the setup; you won't need any other power supply.
