Logitech Alert 700n Add-On Indoor Camera with Night Vision

The Logitech Alert 700n Indoor Add-On Camera with Night Vision is used as an additional camera for existing Alert Master systems. Equipped with a high-power IR illuminator, the camera can capture images at a distance of up to 50' (15.24 m) even in complete darkness. In addition, it features a 2 MP CMOS sensor that delivers clear images and videos at a resolution of up to 960 x 720.

When connected to a PC, the camera feed can be automatically recorded and archived in the computer’s hard disk. Even when your PC is turned off, the camera can store up to a week's video footage on the included 2 GB microSD/SDHC card and a built-in microphone helps record audio. Also included in the pack is Logitech’s Alert Commander desktop software that allows you to quickly configure your video security system, watch or store videos, and review recorded footage.

The camera’s motion-triggered recording feature captures only the critical data, thereby saving valuable storage space. Up to 16 programmable motion-detection zones can be assigned to ensure precise motion detection and fewer false alarms. You can also configure the camera to send you alerts on your mobile or via emails in case of any motion in the surveillance area.

Video feed can be viewed on your iPhone, BlackBerry, or Android smartphone via free mobile apps from Logitech. In addition, you can also view live camera feed directly on Logitech’s secure site from almost anywhere in the world.

This easy-to-install camera can be powered via a single Ethernet network cable, eliminating the need for a power supply. In addition, Logitech’s HomePlug networking technology allows you to use your existing electrical wiring and outlets for networking and transmitting video data, so you do not require any extra wiring when installing the camera.
