The Samsung SRD-852D 8-Channel CIF Real-Time H.264 Digital Video Recorder (8 TB) is a Linux-based, reliable storage solution that meets the growing needs of demanding mission critical applications. It allows you to record high-resolution 720 x 480 videos from up to 8 cameras at 240 fps and delivers superb clarity. In addition, it is capable of recording audio from 4 channels with ADPCM compression and provides output across 1 channel.
Multiple recording modes like continuous, manual, scheduled, etc. allow you to easily configure your security system to record based on your requirements. H.264 compression technology in the 8-channel DVR allows you to save on storage space while also minimizing the bandwidth requirement for operations. Digital watermarking makes video clips more authentic and suitable for submission as evidence if required.
The composite, spot, and VGA output ports let you connect a display to monitor video feeds and perform administrative tasks. It features an Ethernet port that allows you to manage and monitor footage from a centralized location within your network. DDNS support ensures advanced network connectivity at all times. Remote viewing of live video feeds is possible via a compatible web browser. You can even use your 3G mobile phone to monitor your surveillance area while on the go. Using the USB ports, data can be backed up or transferred to external hard drives.
