The IS316JS 6 Gb/s 16-Drive SAS Storage Array (16 TB) from PROAVIO combines a dual port, high-speed 6 Gb/s SAS interface, professional grade redundant & hot-swappable components with a 12 Gb/s storage expansion bus, allowing the addition of multiple IS316JS arrays (up to 256 TB) with absolutely no degradation in performance. With a sustained throughput of over 1600 MB/s (RAID 5), the IS316JS rack mount array provides the facilities to create, grade and render new projects, formats and possibilities.

The IS316JS Storage Array features an easy-to-use hardware design which allows users to spend more time being creative and less time optimizing computer technology to meet their unique workflow demands. Now you can empower your workstation with the speed and reliability needed for today's high-resolution post-production and Visual Effects (VFX) workflows.
An easy-to-use web interface and selectable RAID levels make it a flexible solution for any media application that requires data bandwidth in excess of 1200 MB/s. A high-speed x8 PCI-e design delivers data rates of up to 1.6 GB/s in RAID 5 for the most demanding, mission critical, media applications.
With a sustained throughput of over 1600 MB/s (RAID 5), the IS316JS rack mount array provides the facilities to create, grade and render new projects, formats and possibilities.
