The Armasight NMBF5050S1P6NA1 F5050SLG ITT Dual-Tube Night-Vision Binocular is a night vision device for both ground- and sea-based applications. F5050SLG (based on the AN/PVS-23 military binocular) is a rugged binocular designed to furnish increased depth perception for activities such as off-road driving and high-speed navigation at sea. F5050SLG has an aviation standard optics. Performance is good because each eye receives a unique image giving greater clarity than can be obtained from single-tube devices. It includes a powerful IR illuminator with wide or narrow beam capability. It can be handheld or head mounted. When helmet mounted, the binocular is powered by a rear-mounted battery pack that contains 2 pairs of AA batteries for extended operational endurance.
