OGIO Metro II Backpack (Black)

The black Metro II Backpack from OGIO is a tough little competitor that provides you with more than enough storage space for your computer gear, peripherals and collateral material. With its capacity to hold your 17" laptop in its own fleece-lined compartment, to its separate padded pocket for an additional iPad, tablet or eReader, the Metro II will meet your needs for a lightweight (2.0 lb), rugged and well-designed backpack.

Aside from computer stuff, its main zippered storage compartment is large enough for books, binders, files and all the supporting material you'll need to make it through that business meeting or classroom assignment.

Two extra piggybacked zippered pockets located on one side of the pack are for the extras you always need fast access to. The other side of the pack contains a longer zippered storage pocket. And, two more fleece-lined pockets are included that are tailored to holding your valuables such as eye and sunglasses. One of these pockets is on the top of the pack while the other is on the bottom. The front zippered panel contains an organizer panel complete with a zippered pocket large enough for a DVD. Pens slots and a key ring are also there to help with keep all your stuff reachable.

The Metro II is made from a combination of 420D and 600D polyester. For better protection, OGIO uses their iFOM (Integrated Foam Technology) panels to cushion the pack to guard against bumps, drops and the inevitable incidental contact that occurs during a day outside. The back panel has been designed to be breathable with its pique material. This woven fabric is durable and comfortable especially if the pack will be worn for long periods of time.

The Metro II is carried by two wide and adjustable shoulder straps supported by an adjustable sternum strap that helps keep the pack from shifting around while you're moving. The top neoprene grab handle comes in handy when you're ready to go and simply need to grab the pack and head out the door before hefting it on your back.
