The Telefunken AR-51 Tube Condenser Microphone Stereo Set is a matched stereo pair of Telefunken AR-51 condenser microphones. These microphones are part of their R-F-T series which is intended to provide a cost-effective yet high quality alternative to their pricier tube microphones. The AR51 features a dual sided gold sputtered diaphragm and NOS ECC81 twin triode tube output stage for smooth mid-range, open top end, and solid well-balanced low frequency translation. In addition, three variable polar patterns provide cardioid, omnidirectional and figure 8 patterns, with 6 intermediate stages. The package includes a custom locking flight case that carries both cables, shockmounts, microphones, wooden boxes, and an American-made dual-channel power supply unit.
