The PJD6683WS Short Throw Networkable WXGA Projector from Viewsonic offers 3000 ANSI lumens and a 15,000:1 contrast ratio. The PJD6683WS can project in the 720p, 1080i and 1080p high definition formats and it can also process video in the NTSC and PAL video standards.

The PJD6683WS includes a short throw lens that projects large images from half the distance of a standard throw projector for any room size. This projector can project a 100" (2.5 m) image from less than 4' (1.2 m), which eliminates cast shadows and blinding light for presenters.

With built-in DLP Link technology, you'll have 3D-ready capabilities at your disposal. The projector's embedded emitter function means all that's required to unlock 3D capabilities is a pair of DLP Link compatible glasses. The PJD6683WS also boasts BrilliantColor and DLP technology.

The projector ships with RoomView Express and Crestron built-in e-Control. Crestron RoomView Express is an AV asset management software tool that enables you to keep track of all the rooms in your facility. While connected to each room, RoomView displays system and projector power status, lamp life, alerts and other vital statistics. Now you can take advantage of all the network control and monitoring capabilities that help manage projectors efficiently and effectively.

Lastly, the projector has an eco-mode feature, which will help lower your energy output.

Native 1280 x 800 Resolution is Ideal for HD 720p and Widescreen Brilliance
WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution offers a tremendous degree of flexibility and compatibility with a matching aspect ratio
3D-Ready / 120Hz Refresh Rate Powered by DLP Link Technology
With support for Texas Instrument's DLP Link technology, you'll have 3D capabilities at your disposal. The projector's embedded emitter function means all that's required to unlock 3D capabilities is a pair of DLP Link compatible glasses, such as the optional Viewsonic PGD-250 active shutter glass kit
Quality that Come in Short Distances
No space constraints- Projector large images from half the distance of a standard throw projector slowing flexibility for any room size
No shadows- No distracting shadows on the projected image since the light source is much closer to the screen
No blinding lights- Allows presenters to focus on their presentation and audience without eyestrain and glare
No reflective glare from whiteboards- Many classrooms project on traditional or interactive whiteboards. Over time, traditional projectors can create hotspots on the board - giving off a distracting glare and reducing the visibility of the presentation
Long Lamp Life up to 5000 Hours
The new advanced lamp technology extends the lamp life up to 5000 hours and saves you on maintenance costs
BrilliantColor Technology
Color is one of the most important characteristics of a good projection system, and the latest BrilliantColor technology delivers stunning all-digital clarity with lifelike color, and outstanding video. The 6-segment color wheel enhances the yellow color performance that is important to accurate and vivid color reproduction. With multi-color processing, colors are richer and more vibrant
DLP Technology
Advanced DLP (Digital Light Processing) technology allows you to experience crystal clear, lifelike images with the same DLP technology that Hollywood relies on. For fast action, the response time is also on the order of 1000 times faster than similar LCD based projectors. With no air filters to clean or change, the PJD6683WS will provide a low total cost of ownership
Crestron and AMX Control Systems
Take advantage of network control and monitoring capabilities with Crestron and AMX control systems. Having full remote access and control to the projectors on your network can save you both time and money
HDMI for True Digital Video Quality
HDMI delivers the best high-definition video and audio quality without losing any degradation. It's perfect for connecting to any high definition sources like HD multimedia files, Blu-ray DVD players, HD gaming consoles and HD receivers
Eco-Mode Saves Money, Energy and The Planet
With only a slight 20% decrease in brightness, the eco-mode function can extend the life of your lamp by almost 50% and up to 5000 hours in some cases. Other benefits of eco-mode operation include reduced power consumption, as well as less heat and audible noise output. It's good for the environment and great for your budget. The eco-mode function will definitely help lower your total cost of ownership (TCO)
DynamicEco Technology for Total Control of Audience's Focus
Take command of presentations by dimming the screen image - up to 70% - with DynamicEco button on the remote. With a click of the remote, the presenters are able to easily control audience focus by dimming the projected image, or when the projector is not in use. When DynamicEco is activated, it instantly reduces the lamp power consumption up to 70% - a great energy-saving design for low total cost of ownership (TCO)
