The VK7E6 includes a Canon 5D, 7D & 60D Battery Plate that makes it compatible with Canon 5D Mark II, 7D and 60D batteries The VK7E6 also has 100mm VESA mount screw holes for optional professional Gold and V-mount plates. An AC power adapter also comes included.
The VK7E6 supports inputs from 480i/p, 576i/p, 720p, 1080i/p sources. The front panel boasts a comprehensive set of 10 buttons and 4 knobs. Many useful features consist of preset color temperatures, safe areas switchable between 16:9 and 4:3, DSLR scaling, image mirror / flip, false color, under and over exposure warnings, clip guides, RGB adjust, and a tally light system.

- The False Color feature utilizes a full spectrum of assigned color indicators, ensuring flawless shot exposure. The under/ over luminance warning enables you to get the quality you desire every time. By adjusting the camera's Iris, the subject of the image will change color based on specific brightness values indicating optimal exposure. This feature will help prevent you from having your video over exposed and under exposed.
- DSLR Scaling
- The DSLR Scaling function enables users to extend their DSLR camera's HDMI video output to any option of four: Normal, 3:2, 16:9 or Full Screen.
- Clip Guides
- The VK7E6 offers adjustable upper Clip Guide levels to accurately display overexposed images in any shooting condition. You simply assign the upper IRE to your preference and any exposure over the set IRE limit will flash in a vivid purple, indicating only the over exposed area.
