The Galaxy Audio Handheld Diversity Dynamic VHF Wireless Microphone System (V60: 174.5MHz) is designed for live sound reinforcement applications. The system consists of an HH18 handheld dynamic cardioid wireless microphone, a VSCR VHF wireless receiver, and the necessary power supply. The microphone runs on two AA batteries and can operate up to 8 hours before requiring replacement or recharge. To manage battery life, the microphone features an on/off switch and a low battery LED indicator.
The single-channel receiver features two diversity VHF telescopic antennas and LED indicators for power, RF, and audio signals. For outputs the receiver includes one unbalanced 1/4" audio output. For controls, the receiver includes both an audio output level knob as well as a mute threshold adjustment knob for controlling squelch from radio interference. The system operates on the 174.5MHz VHF channel.
The receiver features two telescopic antennas operating in parallel. The system is designed to utilize whichever antenna is receiving a stronger signal
Mute Threshold Squelch Control
The receiver features a squelch adjustment knob that controls the threshold for the radio signal that regulates audio output. If the radio signal from the microphone drops below the threshold, the squelch control mutes the audio output to prevent the transmission of radio interference and white noise from entering the speakers
The receiver includes LED indicators for power, RF signal, and audio signal
