The BX² Lens Case from Brenthaven is well-padded to protect your 55-200mm f/4 or similar sized lens. This PVC-free (poly vinyl chloride) case is made from rugged, water-resistant ballistic nylon and given an extra exterior coating of polyurethane for additional protection. The overall material is abrasion-resistant since Brenthaven knows that photographers can be hard on their casings which leads to damage to the contents. To that end, BX² Xtreme foam on the bottom of the case provides added protection against any incidental bumps or drops.
The BX² Lens Case contains a touch fastened flap for rapid attachment to a larger BX² case thereby enabling you to expand your ability to carry more gear. A small mesh pocket is provided for holding your lens cap or cleaning cloth since these two items always seem to disappear when you most need them. The zipper comes with a long pull tab that will help when it's cold and you're wearing gloves. Brenthaven backs this case with its 100% lifetime guarantee.
