The ULXD2 handheld transmitter is housed in aluminum body that is designed to be rugged yet lightweight. It runs on two AA batteries or on the optional Shure SB900 rechargeable battery pack. Designed for use onstage, the ULXD2 is fitted with an SM58 microphone cartridge with a cardioid polar pattern. It features an integrated antenna as well as external charging contacts for use with the optional SBC200 Dual Docking Charger. It also features a backlit LCD display for visibility onstage, and a lock button to prevent settings from being changed while you are performing.
The ULXD4D dual receiver delivers 24-bit/48 kHz digital audio and is capable of supporting both ULXD2 handheld transmitters simultaneously. Housed in an all-metal chassis, it can be installed into a single rack space. The receiver features dual XLR outputs for discrete routing of each channel into your mixer, as well as automatic frequency scanning for finding the strongest available signal. Additionally, the ULXD4D employs AES 256-bit encryption which delivers secure wireless transmission for applications that call for privacy.
