The Comprehensive Cables CPS-PCT01 PC Cable Tester is designed to test PC data cables, including monitor cables, modem cables, mouse extension cables, and USB and IEEE1394 Firewire cables. It also tests BNC cables and can be used to test 15-pin to 5 BNC cables. It features an LED display to show pin connections and tests for open, shorted, incorrectly wired cabs as well as continuity and pin configuration. The tester also features auto / manual scan. The PCT-01 tester has 25-pin male and female connectors, a 36-pin female connector for printer cables, 9-pin male and female connectors, both HD15 and DB15 connectors for VGA and MAC cables, RJ-45 for network cables, USB A and B connectors, IEEE1394 6-pin, and BNC connectors.
Note! To test male to male VGA cables a gender changer model HD15J-J is needed.
