The USB 2.0 GC1000 HD 1080i Game Console Video Capture Device from Diamond is a High Definition (HD) video capture box dedicatedly designed for video and PC games. It allows you to capture and edit games from gaming consoles such as Xbox 360 and PS3, from VHS, DVD player, camcorder or satellite set top box and from almost any video source with HDMI or Component (up to 1080i) input and output. It also includes capture support through S-Video input source.
With the H.264 hardware compression technology, the device can capture your local PC gameplay without draining system resources and eliminates the need to set up another PC just for recording game footages. Enjoy real-time high definition (up to 1080i @ 30/60 fps) video capture on your PC or laptop via USB 2.0. The bundled Diamond Video Capture (DVC) software can capture directly and upload your recorded gameplay sessions on YouTube and Facebook from one application. It is also capable to preserve your VHS tapes. With Loop-Through video input and output support, it can be used for HD gaming capture, providing zero-delay display on your TV and recording video gameplay on your PC simultaneously.
The GC1000 features a full screen video capture function and PIP/POP modes for video playback. CyberLink's Power Director 8 is also included to capture and edit your videos and to burn your support files to DVD/VCD. The device is compatible with Microsoft Windows XP, Vista & 7.
