The Razer Tiamat 7.1 Elite Surround Sound Analog Gaming Headset features 10 discrete neodymium drivers including two subwoofer drivers with titanium coated diaphragms for stronger bass response and overall audio performance. The 10 drivers support 7.1 channel surround sound, which facilitates more immersive gaming. The Tiamat 7.1 also features replaceable, snug-fitting padded leatherette ear cushions and interchangeable ear cup covers, which provide enough comfort for hours of uninterrupted gaming.
The headset is also equipped with a noise-filtering unidirectional microphone for clear communication, and a braided fiber cable that houses an all-in-one volume control unit. The control unit supports volume control for all of the drivers and the microphone. It also controls microphone and audio mute, as well as a 7.1 surround sound / 2.0 stereo mode toggle function and a speaker / headset toggle function. The Tiamat 7.1 is compatible with PCs that has 1/8" (3.5 mm) audio jacks and a USB port. For 7.1 mode, your PC must also have a 7.1 surround sound-enabled sound card.
