The N7700PRO v2 7-Bay NAS Server from Thecus is a desktop NAS Tower server that features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB of DDR2 SDRAM and a dual Gigabit Ethernet interface. Supporting the installation of up to 7x 3.5" SAS hard disks, the enclosure supports a multitude of RAID levels, including RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 and JBOD.
The N7700PRO v2 now has network protocol support for IPV6, as well as the standard TCP/IP, CIFS/SMB, AFP, NFS v4, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, FTP-SSL/TLS, DHCP Server, DHCP Client, and SNMP protocols. It also features higher read/write speeds and multiple client performance speeds than its predecessor.
The kit includes seven 4TB SATA hard drives for a total of 28TB of raw capacity.
