The CM6870 Desktop Computer from ASUS is a versatile desktop computer with multitasking power. With the 3.4GHz Intel Core i7-3770 processor and 16GB of DDR3 SDRAM you can take advantage of enhanced processing power to take on tasks such as video editing, movie watching, and a variety of other tasks with ease. The 4TB hard drive provides expansive memory giving you enough storage for a large amount of HD quality videos, movies, pictures, documents, and more.
With an NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 graphics card you can simultaneously drive up to four independent 1080p displays for an enhanced multimedia experience or increase your productivity workspace by expanding a single application across all three displays for an immersive viewing perspective. NVIDIA adaptive vertical sync provides a smarter way to render frames. At high frame rates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. With anti-aliasing technology jagged edges are made smooth with minimal performance impact.
Connect to the Internet with ease by utilizing the Gigabit network interface. Utilize the Blu-ray combo drive to burn DVDs and watch Blu-ray movies on a variety of displays via the integrated VGA, DVI, or HDMI port. Connect the CM6970 to a variety of peripherals via any one of the 10 USB ports and transfer data quickly and efficiently via the 16-in-1 card reader.
Windows 8 is the installed operating system. Windows 8 replaces the traditional Start menu with a redesigned Start screen. The Start screen features tiles that update in real-time, which provide faster access to news, weather forecasts, sports scores, social network updates and more. Windows 8 also focuses more on cloud storage as well as apps, which can be downloaded from the Windows Store. Windows 8 provides a unique user experience.
