The Studio Master Edition Plug-in Bundle from NuGen Audio is a software package for Mac and Windows that can be used in mastering, mixing, producing, loudness standard compliance and more. It contains the VisLM-H loudness meter plug-in, the SEQ1 Master Edition linear phase equalizer plug-in, the SEQ2 Master Edition linear phase multi-band spline equalizer plug-in, the Stereoplacer frequency dependent pan control plug-in, the Stereoizer stereo image manipulation plug-in, the MONOFILTER bass mixing plug-in, the Visualizer spectrum analyzer plug-in and the ISL true peak limiter plug-in.

The VisLM-H Loudness Meter Plug-in offers a variety of loudness measurement tools that are intended for use in audio mixing and mastering, broadcast, film and more. It offers true-peak level metering, momentary loudness metering for real-time level monitoring, short-term metering which shows loudness levels over 3 second windows, and program metering which displays a long-term averaged loudness measurement.

The SEQ1 Master Edition is a 7-band stereo equalizer that is designed with standard parametric EQ controls that include high and low pass filters with adjustable slope, high and low shelfs and parametric bell curves. In addition, it features linked or independent L/R channel operation plus it can operate in either classic L/R stereo mode or in mid-side mode.

The SEQ2 Master Edition from NuGen Audio is a linear phase, multi-band spline equalizer that allows you to draw your EQ curves freehand using your mouse. There are various frequency banding options to determine the number of control points and the distance between them, plus there are zooming functions for making finer adjustments.

Stereoplacer works by allowing you to separate the different frequency ranges of mono or stereo audio files into discrete bands. It then gives you spatial control over these bands, allowing you to independently reposition them within the stereo field.

The Stereoizer plug-in is intended to give you in-depth control over the stereo image of your audio. It is designed for adding width and depth to the stereo field of the source material without sacrificing sound quality. It works by manipulating the psychoacoustic properties of the source material, not by adding reverberation.

MONOFILTER is designed to improve upon phase issues specifically in the low frequency areas of your audio. It allows you to carve out your audio into separate frequency bands for processing and ultimately improve bass focus and clarity.

Visualizer is an audio analysis tool that can help you identify problematic frequencies, fundamentals, harmonics and much more. It has several visual displays including a traditional spectrum analysis display, a spectrogram display that shows level and frequency history with a zoom control, and primary and secondary meter displays which allow for multiple metering types to be viewed simultaneously.

The ISL plug-in is a look-ahead true peak limiter, which means that it examines the audio before it actually passes through the limiter. This helps to ensure that transient peaks are limited in time for distortion to be avoided. ISL is designed for use in a variety of audio mixing and mastering applications.
