The sparkling black HP Pavilion g6-2230us 15.6" Notebook PC features a Windows 8 (64-bit) operating system and an Intel Core i3 dual-core 2.4GHz processor. The notebook also features 4GB of DDR3 RAM memory, Intel HD Graphics 3000 and a 15.6" HD BrightView LED-backlit display with 1366 x 768 native resolution. Plus, it is equipped with a 750GB hard drive that can store up to 186,000 photos, 167,000 songs or 335 HD movies. The hard drive is even protected from bumps thanks to HP ProtectSmart.
For Internet connectivity, the Pavilion g6 is equipped with a 10/10 BASE-T Ethernet jack and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. For wired connectivity, the notebook features dual SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, an HDMI output, a VGA output, a microphone input and a headphone output. The Pavilion g6 also features Altec Lansing speakers and Dolby Advanced Audio, as well as an HP TrueVision HD Webcam with integrated digital microphone.
The lithium-ion battery supports up to 3.75 hours between charges. Plus, a SuperMulti DVD Burner lets you watch movies, record music, record video and you can even load apps. The display also supports HD video encoding and multitasking in breathtaking color and clarity. Other features include HP CoolSense technology and an ENERGY STAR certification.
