The DPA2655QR-T 2 x 6 Input / Output Speaker Processor from Marani comes with 2 input levels displayed by rows of 6-level LEDs and 1 clip LED. The 6 output levels are displayed by rows of 5-level LEDs, 1 clip LED, and 1 limiter LED.
This unit has 2 analog inputs, a stereo digital input, and 6 analog outputs. Each input has 5 filters, while each output has 5 parametric filters. Both input and output filters can be selected to be Bell, 1st / 2nd Ord shelvings with -3 dB at cutting frequency, symmetrical shelving with variable Q, HP / LP with variable Q, and 1st / 2nd Ord. An all pass provides 90 / 180° phase rotation at cutting frequency, bandpass, and notch. The outputs X-over section has Butterworth, Lin / Reyl, and Bessel filters up to 24 dB/Oct or custom selectable HP / LP with up to 24 dB/Oct cascaded Iind Ord cells adjustable in frequency. The Q. RMS compressor also provides a selectable ratio up to 32:1 and adjustable soft / hard knee.
The Output Peak Limiter with THR in Vp or dBu offers loudspeaker protection. The RMS compressor and peak limiter's THR can range up to -30 dBu. Each input and output channel has delays up to 850 ms with steps of 22 µs. Linking functions between inputs and linking functions between outputs are available and enables having ramps close the output level on parameter changes when the device is used as an installation unit. This function can be excluded when the unit is used live and it is necessary to perform small changes to the set parameter on the fly.
The Pc software for the included remote control allows connection in net up to 32 units, shows the phase of the filter setting, and allows graphical adjustment of the RMS compressor and the peak limiter.
The DPA2655QR-T processor can be remotely controlled via a PC. While a single unit can be remotely controlled through a USB interface, multiple units can be controlled through a TCP/IP (Ethernet) interface.
