Readiris 14 Corporate OCR Software (3 User License) is optical character recognition software that features the ability to convert text, images or PDFs into editable digital text. It can also convert standard documents and images into searchable, fully-indexed keyword-retrievable PDF files.

The corporate edition features extras such as on-the-fly indexing that allows you to easily extract data and define output location. There is also batch OCR and document separation, watched folders that let you monitor when image files are replaced or added to specific folders and duplex/high-speed scanning.

Readiris 14 Corporate still features document access through Cloud-based hosting services like Dropbox, Evernote, Google Docs and Box.net, but also adds Microsoft SharePoint and Therefore to the list. A new user interface with an Office 2010 look is supported by improved multi-core CPU support and a faster enhanced OCR engine. Readiris Corporate 14 also uses I.R.I.S. Intelligent High-Quality Compression technology (iHQC) to reduce the size of a file by almost 50x - but keeps the compliance needed to see a file with standard PDF viewers.

There's also output support for 30+ popular file formats (including Adobe Acrobat (.pdf), Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx, .rtf), Excel (.xls, .xlsx, .csv), Text (.txt), HTML (.html), XPS (.xps), Open Office (.odt) and SpreadsheetML (.xml). The software is available in over 25 native interface languages, and recognizes more than 130 languages, including Cyrillic, Arabic and Chinese. The corporate edition also extends support for portable file formats, and converts PDF/A, digitally-signed and password-protected PDFs, and XPS files.

You can also import documents from any scanner, digital camera or phone and convert them into editable text or searchable PDFs. Scan documents using Readiris 14's embedded scanning wizard and you won't have to launch any additional scanning software.
