The compact Avangard Optics 4GB MHD80 High Definition Micro Camcorder is less than an inch wide and only two inches long. It's capable of shooting HD 1280 x 720 video at 30 fps, as well as HD video at 60 fps for high-speed action. It can also capture JPEG still images. The camcorder records using the AVI video format and it includes a 4GB microSD card for storing your movies and photos. Besides being the right size for hands-free action sports recording, the MHD80 also works for covert surveillance and webcam videoconferencing.
The MHD80 features a 62° wide angle lens and a lithium-ion battery that supports up to three hours of recording on a single charge. The camera features voice activated recording as well. You can start and stop your recordings this way, which is convenient if you have the camera mounted to your helmet or anywhere else where reaching the record button is a hassle. The MHD80 also includes video editing software and a multi-environment clip attachment.
