The RigWheels Kit 5 Car Suction Mount attaches an aluminum plate to car windows and other glass surfaces by means of eight suction cups. The plate features 1/4" and 3/8" threads that support mounting cameras, mics, lights and other equipment either directly or via shoe mounts, ball heads or tripod heads. Small to medium sized cameras are most ideal. The plate also has 3/8" and 5/16" pass-through holes. These are for the four suction cups and allow the cups to be attached in various arrangements, from tight to wide.
The included cups are RigWheels' A-Cups, which are standard cups for general uses. Also included are two RigAxels -- flat bars for configuring the kit in various ways, each with the intention of achieving better stability. For example, a RigAxel with two A-Cups affixed to it can serve as an outrigger mounting point.
