The MDR-XB800 Extra Bass Headphones made by Sony are a pair of circumaural over-the-ear type headphones that feature Neodymium magnets and a frequency response of 3Hz to 28kHz.

Designed for an extra bass response, the headphones are built with 50mm drivers and have an acoustic seal on the ear-cups that aids in isolating the reproduction of low end frequencies. The reversible ear-pads are made from pressure relieving urethane foam to mold the ear and reduce external ambient noise.

The dual fold design adds to portability and the flat lined Y-type cord reduces tangles. At the end of the cable is a 1/8" (3.5mm) gold-plated, right-angled mini-stereo plug for connection with laptops, cell-phones and other music playing devices.

Powerful drivers for deep bass response.
Sturdy steel finish with robust screw hinges.
Pressure relieving reversible ear-pads.
Flat-lined cord with serrated finish creates less tangles.
