The JAG35 Offset Raised Railblock v2 is essential while building a shoulder rig where you need to place a DSLR body right in front of you for use with an LCD loupe like the Z-Finder or the DigiFinder. Using the industry standard 15mm rod system, the Offset Raised Railblock v2 raises your setup 0.78” and puts it 2.36” to the side; this puts the viewfinder and camera at eye level.
This thick and sturdy rail block is machined from tough and lightweight aluminum alloy, and it has a smooth surface and chamfered edges.
Note: It is recommended that you do not use the Offset Raised Railblock if you're using a battery grip on your camera or if you're using a full-size body slr, as your camera will already be higher. For this, the Straight Offset Railblock is recommended.
