The Vanguard ABEO CM-284 Carbon Fiber Monopod provides a good compromise between the stability of a tripod and the speed of handheld shooting. Carbon fiber construction allows the CM-284 to weigh in at a mere 0.93 lb while it rises to a maximum height of 61" The CM-284 is all about speed of operation. It quickly retracts from its maximum height to only 20.9" in seconds thanks to its quick flip leg locks. An adjustable wrist strap secures the monopod while you grasp the comfortable foam grip. An included carabiner allows you to secure the CM-284 to your belt or backpack for walking or climbing. The 1/4"-20 mounting screw is convertible to 1/8".
