The Dracast E-Image EK50AAM Fluid Drag Video Head and Tripod is a video head and 2 stage tripod leg system designed for video cameras weighing up to 13.2 pounds. The head has fixed pan and adjustable tilt fluid drag for smooth camera movements. The included Quick Release (QR) plate attaches to your camera with either of the included 1/4"-20 or 3/8" camera tie-down screws. With the camera attached, the QR plate snaps into the cradle, which quickly and securely attaches your camera to the tripod head. The QR plate release system features a safety mechanism to help prevent accidentally releasing the plate. The head also features an integrated forward / back sliding balance plate which allows you to balance the camera on the head for optimal operation on a shot by shot need.
The Tripod legs are made of an anodized aluminum alloy, with a fixed mid level spreader and rotary clamping leg locks. The foot spikes are covered by removable anti-slip pads, and an integrated elastic leg wrap helps keep the legs closed for transport.
