The 240GB Nexto DI Video Storage Pro with Built-In SSD frees you up to shoot at length without having to backup your footage to a computer. A 240GB Mercury Electra 3G SATA internal solid state drive (SSD) from OWC is built into the device, offering maximum read speeds of 285MB/s and write speeds of 275MB/s. Store files from a multitude of compatible memory cards, then transfer the data to a computer via the eSATA, USB 2.0, or FireWire 800 interfaces. Supported formats include FAT 12, FAT 16, FAT 32, and ExFAT. The device also supports MPEG and MPEG4 AVC/AVC-HD.

The Video Storage Pro backs files up quickly thanks to Nexto's X-Copy Technology. SxS cards can be backed up at an average speed of 90MB/s. And when it comes to power, the Storage Pro's internal battery can be recharged multiple ways: via the included AC adapter, the car charger, via USB, using the FireWire 6-6pin, or using an external AA battery holder.

Additionally, the Video Storage Pro keeps your data safe from damage or loss with an internal free-fall sensor, non-elastic shock protection, a rubber made shock absorber, and shock protective rubber end-caps. The device also checks for bad sectors prior to copying new data, and if bad sectors are found, the data therein is moved to a good sector.
