The ikan BMC-PBK-1-S BMC Over/Under Pro Battery Rail Kit allows you to mount your pro-battery over or under a rig using the rail mount. It includes the ELE-15RM 15mm Rod Mount, the ELE-DBLPT Double Cheese Plate, the M-A Universal AB Mounting Plate, and a Power Tap cable.
The ELE-15RM 15mm Rod Mount works with any standard 15mm rod system. It has two 4mm, threaded mounting holes to accommodate the ikan 62mm battery systems. Those holes will also accept any ikan Cheese Plate, Cheese Stick Sr., battery plates, or the ELE-90M Right Angle Mount.
There is anti-rotation slot in the middle of the mount to secure the Cheese Stick Jr. In this combination, the Cheese Stick Jr. will sit between the rods, providing additional three 1/4" and two 3/8" threaded holes for mounting a center grip, articulating arm or whatever accessory you may need.
The ELE-DBLPT Double Cheese Plate’s primary purpose is to serve as a tripod mounting system or base plate for use with other pieces in the elements system.
Down the middle are a series of 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes compatible with most tripod plates. In the center are 2 sets of mounting holes for mounting an ELE-WDGL in order to make the system compatible with wedge-locking, quick-release systems such as the Canon TA-100 or Sony VCT-14.
On the corners and mid points are 8 sets of mounting holes that will accommodate the ikan handle arm, cheese sticks or other mounting accessories. This version of the double cheese plate also has holes in the pattern for attaching Anton-Bauer battery mounting plates.
