The iOptron PowerWeight Counterweight Battery Pak for iEQ45 Telescope Mount is specifically designed to be used as an additional counterweight in place of your traditional counterweight and long extension cords. Inside the PowerWeight rechargeable counterweight are 6 heavy-duty spiral wound valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) battery cells. This 8Ah power pack provides power for operation of your telescope gear out in the field. It can also be used with MiniTower and MiniTower Pro mounts when an optional adapter is used.
The battery does not have a memory effect. An indicator light on the battery charger tells you the battery charging status. Red indicates the battery is recharging and Green indicates the charge is complete. The charging process should automatically stop when the battery is full. Either socket on the power pack can be used for power drawing or charging.
Note! Mount and bar not included with the battery pak.
