The Sea & Sea MDX-D800 Housing is designed for Nikon D800/D800E DSLR Cameras. It allows you to use your camera up to 330’ underwater. It features a built-in leak sensor that alerts you in the event of water ingress.

The housing comes with an optical 0.5x viewfinder, and when used with the VF180 or VF45 Prism Viewfinders, the magnification increases by 1.2x and entire field of view can be seen at the same time. It recommended for users who are committed to strict composition and focusing.

The housing’s ergonomic design provides access to controls such as the main command and sub-command dials, both necessary for manual photography, when you have both your hands on the grips. Additionally, it also provides access to the video functions.

By connecting fiber-optic cables (L-type) to the fiber optic cable sockets, the light of the digital camera's built-in flash connected to an external strobe is detected.

Note: When mounting the Optical Dome Port on the MDX-D800, remove both shades by loosening the hex screws.
