Product Highlights
  • Pulley Kit for Varavon Slider
  • Enables Using Water Bottles as Weights

The Varavon Slider Balance Pulley Kit installs on a Varavon slider to add the resistance of a counterweight to slanted, tripod-mounted slides. The kit enables using water bottles as counterweights. A counterweight plate fixes around two water bottles like a wrench around a nut, and a rubber strap holds the bottles securely in place. The plate then fixes onto a hook that hangs on a wire over the edge of the slider. Alternative to this plate, you can hook on anything that can be fixed on a hook and use it as a counterweight.

In executing your slide, you would just need to support the resistance of the counterweight a bit by gently pulling the pulley wire up or down or gently sliding the camera up or down the slant in balance with the counterweight. Whatever the manner, your slide will be smoother and more consistent than possible without a counterweight. Your camera and counterweight should not be too different in weight but rather around the same weight, as works best for your slide.

  • The pulley wire is 60" long and is adjustable in length
  • The top plate component attaches to the slider's sliding block
  • The pulley assembly connects onto the edge of the slider
  • Compatible with all Varavon sliders, including LITE and S
