Ikelite Underwater Housing for Nikon COOLPIX P7700 Digital Camera

This Underwater Housing for Nikon COOLPIX P7700 Digital Camera from Ikelite is a waterproof case enabling you to shoot beneath the water's surface with your Nikon COOLPIX P7700 point-and-shoot camera. It has a depth rating of 200' (60 m).

The housing provides access to all camera functions, except the Fn button and Flash pop-up button, via mechanical controls. The camera's built-in flash is usable. The case is constructed from durable polycarbonate and acrylic, and is clear to enable you to monitor the O-ring seal. Housing buoyancy is nearly neutral in freshwater.

You can attach optional 67mm macro lenses to the housing's built-in flat lens port via the optional 9306.82 adapter, or attach the optional WD-4 Wide Angle Dome. Macro lenses will enable extreme close-up shots, while the wide-angle lens will increase your angle of coverage, allowing you to get close to your subject while fitting more in the frame. The WD-4 gives you sharp images corner to corner with no vignetting. Both macro and wide-angle lenses cut down on distortion caused by the water. To restore colors that get absorbed underwater, especially reds and oranges, you can use optional external color correction filters for blue or green water (without a strobe).

The housing is equipped with circuitry enabling Nikon TTL flash exposure control. Trigger an optional Ikelite DS Substrobe--such as the DS161--automatically, without firing the camera's built-in flash--saving battery life, speeding up recycling time, and eliminating backscatter, while providing more accurate exposure. To soften the light of the camera's built-in flash, use the included diffuser. To block and redirect the light of the camera's flash towards an external strobe, use the included deflector.

The housing is equipped with 3/8"-16 bolts with 3" spacing for mounting the included Tray with Single Handle. This tray allows for the attachment of an optional lighting arm for a strobe or optional video light, such as the PRO-V8 LED light.
