The HH38 Handheld Microphone Transmitter from Galaxy Audio is designed for use with the ECD Series dual channel wireless microphone system. It is used to capture audio sources in speech reinforcement applications such as in public speaking, live shows and more. The HH38 transmitter features a dynamic cardioid microphone capsule and has 16 selectable channels. This transmitter operates on a frequency range from 655 to 679 MHz. The HH38 transmitter also features IR (Infrared) sync capabilities which allow for simple setup with the ECD receiver.
The HH38 transmitter is built with a power LED, a low battery indicator, power switch and an IR receiver window. It is powered by 2 separately sold AA alkaline batteries.
Dynamic Cardioid Capsule
The microphone capsule attenuates noise at the off-axis sections of the microphone capsule. The cardioid polar pattern reduces noise from ambiance and monitors.
IR Sync with Receiver
The HH38 will need to be powered off and on again during the syncing process in order to properly sync. An amber power light on the HH38 indicates that it is ready to receive the IR signal from the receiver.
8-Hour Battery Life
Expected life for two alkaline batteries is about 8 hours. If the power LED (green) turns red then the batteries are low and should be changed immediately.
