This Medalight Master AC Slave flash unit provides a choice of operations. As a master unit, it connects to a camera's PC terminal by its coiled, removable 4' sync cord. As a slave unit, it "sees" the light from your first flash, and fires instantaneously.

The sensor does not work very well at all. Unless the camera is pointing at the flash it doesn't fire. Maybe I just got a bad one, but I can't recommend this product based on my experience with it.
