I use this during weddings for back lighting, I actually purchased 3 for creative looks during formal pictures. The thing I love is the price and the size, if I accidentally loose one or it walks off, it's inexpensive to replace instead of my SB600 and SB800. There is also a metal adjustable stand on the side so you can change the angle. Great little light, highly recommend this product!

I bought three of these to photograph hummingbirds at set ups in the back yard. They worked fine, right out of the box, as long as I was inside the house. Unfortunately, outdoors in greater ambient light they do not fire. As I rarely use flash for my photography I am not sure whether this is common for all slaves activated by the on camera flash or if these just don't have a sufficiently sensitive sensor for what I am trying to do.

It does a good job for its price. Found quite difficult to close the battery compartment, for the rest it is worth the money.

This is used for fill in, backlight and for side lighting. Nothing fancy, but seems to work well. The sensor seems plenty sensitive. Recharge is no more than a few seconds. I don't know yet about battery life.
