Medalight Universal Umbrella Bracket with Swivel Mount
The Medalight Universal Umbrella Bracket is a versatile bracket that will fit on almost any light stand. It includes two removable, reversible studs to adapt to light stands with top studs smaller than the standard 5/8". This bracket tilts and swivels to make aiming the light or flash easy.

- Once the stud is removed, the bracket may be mounted vertically, or horizontally out from the top of almost any stand with a 5/8" (Baby) top

I bought this specific bracket because of the adapters that come with it. My radio slaves screw onto the tops of light-stands and tripods, so this was the main thought for purchasing this bracket. I can use my slaves with it.
The large arm used for tilting the bracket is very nice when you have to hold things and adjust your umbrella/flash.

Fine bracket for some I'm sure, but not an easy bracket to switch for quick tilt with umbrella. I have a few of these (from different brands) and I quick clicked on this to order another one right before a gig. I wish I spend more time looking closely to save myself from the return.

I use this for my off-camera flash, with or without an umbrella. I love the swivel and I love the fact that the metal connector is reversable. It will mount using the large or small so I can use it on a 'headless' tripod...and have the capability to easily swivel the flash.

I use these to mount my Nikon flashes on stands with umbrellas. They work great and make using the CLS lighting system that much easier. Great for situations where I have to do some lighting, but don't have the time to haul and set up studio strobes.

This is my first umbrella bracket. No complaints. It's built solidly, the umbrella 'hole' is angled upwards so that the brollie doesn't slide forward. Can't go wrong with this one. Great purchase!
Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because that's reserved for items that blow me away.
