The Ikelite 6146.15 Underwater Housing Kit with Canon PowerShot G15 Digital Camera from B&H provides you with both a durable waterproof housing from Ikelite and the Canon PowerShot G15 point-and-shoot camera to go inside it. The housing enables you to capture photos and video underwater to a maximum depth of 200' (60 m).
Mechanical controls provide access to all camera functions, except the Diopter Adjustment control and Flash pop-up button. The housing is constructed from durable polycarbonate, which is clear to enable you to monitor the O-ring seal. You can attach optional 67mm wide-angle and macro lenses to the housing's flat glass lens port. Bayonet lenses are not compatible. The housing is configured with built-in TTL flash circuitry and features an electrical TTL bulkhead, allowing you to use optional external strobes to improve lighting.
The Canon PowerShot G15 has a CMOS image sensor with a 12.1MP resolution. It is equipped with both a 3.0" LCD screen and an optical viewfinder. Its lens has an effective focal length of 6.1-30.5mm, equivalent to 28-140mm in 35mm format, and a fast f/1.8-2.8 aperture. The camera's DIGIC 5 processor yields detailed images in many low-light situations without the need for artificial light sources. The fast processing speeds result in fast continuous shooting while maintaining a high level of image quality. Capture Full HD 1080p video and both RAW and JPEG still images.
